Why I Support Parents in Neurodivergent Families — Not Just the Kids
Neurodivergent children often spend years navigating appointments, therapies, assessments and systems that focus on changing them. But what if the most lasting support doesn’t come from yet another appointment, but from the strength and understanding within the family? In this video, I share why I work directly with parents of neurodivergent children, rather than focusing solely on therapy for the kids. It’s not because kids don’t need support - it’s because they also need rest. They need a home where they can take off the mask, where they are accepted and understood exactly as they are. When a parent is resourced, regulated and supported, the whole family feels it. When a parent truly sees and celebrates their child’s neurodivergence, that child begins to flourish. When the relationship is strong, everything else becomes easier. This is the heart of my work. It’s about helping you feel calm, capable and connected, so your child doesn’t have to be the one always trying harder.
